He first discovered his love for it in high school, where he took photography classes and developed a keen eye for capturing moments. Even after graduation, he kept it as a hobby, snapping photos for fun and enjoyment. People started noticing his talent and began asking him to take pictures for them, initially for free. However, as demand grew and offers to pay him for his services increased, Mario found himself in a predicament. This newfound interest clashed with his perception of photography as just a hobby. Driven by his passion, Mario continued to pursue photography opportunities, balancing them alongside his various jobs and the joys of fatherhood with the arrival of his first child, Valentino.

Following Their Hearts, Creating Red Studios: The closure of the luxury suit store where Mario worked marked a turning point. Transitioning to a new role as a Visual Merchandiser at Macy's offered hope for change, but it only deepened Mario's sense of dissatisfaction. The repetitive nature of the job left him feeling stagnant and unfulfilled, especially during the idle hours spent waiting to clock out. Mario hoped for more, realizing that this time could be better utilized pursuing his true passion: photography. With Ana's support, including her decision to leave her own job, Mario made the bold decision to pursue his dream full-time. And so, with nothing but determination and a shared dream, Mario and Ana took a leap of faith. They dove headfirst into the world of entrepreneurship. In 2002, armed with paintbrushes and a vision painted in shades of red, they transformed a cold warehouse in West New York, NJ into a haven of creativity - Red Studios was born. Each stroke of paint, each carefully curated corner, was a testament to their courage, their resilience, and their unwavering belief in the power of chasing dreams.
